COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES-DESTINATIONS

STATE LINE FALL FESTIVAL

The community is home to the annual "State Line Fall Festival" every October, and the event is held on the former site of the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad in the historic downtown area. Thousands take part in the event that features arts and crafts, food, children's activities and various displays of craftsmanship. STATE LINE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The community enjoys having a public library facility at 8 Farrar Street, and it is part of the Pine Forest Regional Library System that serves four Southeast Mississippi counties. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Mondays and from noon to 6 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For information, call 601-848-7011.

STATE LINE CHRISTMAS PARADE

The community celebrates the Christmas season with a parade that begins and ends at the State Line Fire Department.

STATE LINE INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS

The community marks the Fourth of July with a fireworks display in the downtown business district.
